doughnut hole cake pops

My friend Erin threw the most adorable carnival party this weekend and she had the best idea. Instead of rolling individual cake pops she used doughnut holes! I could not wait to recreate them myself at home. They were so easy to make and pretty for a party or for an extra sweet morning treat. Simply roll the doughnut holes in a bit of frosting and cover with sprinkles. Happy Monday:)

  1. I tried to make cake pops last year and while they were friggin delicious, they were super heavy and wouldn’t stay on their sticks. What kind of stick did you use? This is such a great idea!

    • Freya, I use the thicker white baking sticks that can be purchased at a craft store in the baking section. The work pretty well, I also noticed Target is now selling them in the small appliance section. They even have an actual doughnut hole maker machine for sale too, crazy!
