It is going to be over 100 degrees in Reno this week and we don’t have AC (eeek!). I made this origami take on an ice cream cone filled with confetti as fun diversion from the heat. It’s a simple way to celebrate on a hot summer day and would be great for parties or weddings as a send off in the summer sun.
To make the confetti ice cream cones; use vellum paper, cut in half. Fold each section along the triangle crease lines, tucking the last section in. Use a two inch hole punch and tissue paper to get big bright circles in your color choice. Stuff the triangles with the confetti and leave a few circles hanging out as ice cream balls.
You never cease to amaze me with your fun ideas :-) Love this!
so stinkin’ adorable! i want to have a sundae party just so i can make this.
