I am excited to share with you these festive watercolor labels, my latest DIY for Project Wedding. First a confession; I have completely jumped on the watercolor bandwagon this spring. After styling the watercolor ice cream bar, I realized how much fun it was to paint this way. My favorite thing about watercolor projects is the feeling that everyone can be an artist in the process.
For these favor labels simply use a white crayon to write in your text and then enjoy combining together pretty spring shades of watercolors. Paint with a simple foam brush. As the label paint dries, the wax from the crayon will show through leaving a festive way to communicate with your guests.
Use the painted labels for wedding favors, escort cards, party decor or as gift tags for your spring presents. Such a simple project, even the kids could help with this one.

PS. A few other lovelies to encourage my spring watercolor obsession; festive bunting made my Melanie, gorgeous pillows shown by Liz, watercolor vases made by me, and Valentine cards that would be the perfect sentiment for your spring romance. Also Today’s Creative Blog has a few cute ideas.

Really pretty and easy, most importantly!
So brilliant Victoria! I love this idea and even went back through your fab magazine to see the watercolor ice cream. All of this is so perfect for Easter! Love!

This is so cool and would be a great way to decorate Easter eggs for this weekend :)
I love this idea! My kids have done lots of painting with crayons for contrast but it never occurred to me to use it for tags and other fun items! Thanks for the tip!
